Pan Am in Africa 1941 WWII Lecture – Tom Culbert
Join retired Army ME FAO Tom Culbert at Beatley Central Library, Alexandria, VA on June 25, @ 7 PM as he talks about Pan Am's secret missions that helped win World War II. He will also be signing copies of his book afterwards. Culbert’s work focuses on the work accomplished by the American civilians of Pan American Airways-Africa Ltd. supporting the Allies’ war effort in Africa in 1941-1942.
Following the event there is the potential of an informal, group gathering of like-minded - and thirsty - attendees after the presentation at “Shooter McGees” (a neighborhood restaurant and tavern) located a short 2 block walk from the library on Duke Street.
Come out and enjoy and bring a friend!
