    Even seemingly the most simple of tasks have risks. We've all done many similar missions without issue.  This man gave his life in the performance of his duties for his country.  My thoughts go out to his family, his wife, his children ... I offer my respect, and honor to a man I never knew.   God bless ...     I too offer my condolences to the Bourland family in this time of grief.  I never knew Lt Col Bourland but I know his passing to be a loss to our military fellowship.
